Occasionally everyone gets a run-of-the-mill headache. You can swiftly and easily rid yourself of these “tension headaches,” as termed by doctors, by sleeping, consuming water, or taking aspirin or Tylenol.
If you have experienced constant tension headaches, you know that they wreak havoc in all you do. In a study conducted by the American Headache Society, it was demonstrated that almost three-quarters of chronic headache sufferers experience significant difficulties dealing with everyday activities due to the headaches.
Besides the actual headache, migraine sufferers have other symptoms; for example, they are extremely sensitive to light and may spend several days each month in a darkened room because the pain of being in the light is unbearable.
Fioricet: A New Choice
One of the medications that have been developed by researchers to manage headaches is Fioricet. It has also been proven to have an effect on headaches brought on by tension. Although research hasn’t demonstrated its success against migraines, there are migraine sufferers who report some benefit.
There are three active ingredients in Fioricet and each attacks a different “part” of your headache, in the same way a laundry detergent might have different active ingredients to deal with dirty stains, grease spots, and odor.
How do the dynamic three do its work?
Fioricet has three parts, two of which may be familiar:
*Butalbital
*Acetaminophen
*Caffeine
You may recognize a drug called acetaminophen as a drug which is the active ingredient in Tylenol. When combined with a relaxant, it can assist with the relief of pain.
